The CBSE advised students to ignore the circular as it was of last year and misleading. “There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about this year’s board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding 10th and 12th exams,” official said .

A fake Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) classes 10, 12 exam schedule is being circulated on social media tweaking the last year’s exam circular, the board in a communique mentioned. CBSE will conduct board exams as scheduled from May 4 to June 10.

The board advised students to ignore the circular. “There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about this year’s board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding 10th and 12th exams. Students should ignore this old circular of last year and not be misled. Board has not issued any such information,” CBSE official said.

An old notice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) giving details about schedule of exams for the Class 10 and 12 Board exams has been doing rounds on social media.

The notice talked about postponement of exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Board had to step in to clear the air on the issue.

The CBSE board exams will be conducted as per schedule starting from May 4 to June 10.

The board exams for the 2020-21 session are being conducted taking all necessary precautions against the infection.

The board has allowed students who miss their practical exams due to the pandemic to take the same at a later date after consulting with the regional office.

No reduction in CBSE syllabus for academic session 2021-22:

Notably, CBSE has not made any reduction in syllabus, the new academic session commences from April .

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 of the new academic session 2021-22.

The board had reduced 30 per cent of the syllabus in the last academic year due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The students should note that the previous syllabus will not be applicable in the new academic year and they have to study full syllabus.

The CBSE has recently revised the dates for classes 10 and 12 exams. The dates for the class 12 physics paper and applied physics are shifted from May 13 to June 1. Similarly, the class 10 mathematics paper will be held on June 2 instead of May 21 as per the revised date sheet, including other various subjects.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE officials have warned students and parents not to believe the board exam schedule that is doing the rounds on social media in recent times. The exam schedule that has been circulating on social media is last year’s exam schedule.

Meanwhile, the Board has issued notice on practical exams where it has said that it will conduct practical exams for Class 10, 12 students who are not able to appear in practical examination because of being infected with coronavirus. These students will get another chance before June 11, 2021.

The CBSE Board Exam 2021 result is expected to release likely by July 15, 2021.
